Each time I go outside and see a bright blue sky, I'm sad. Most people don't even notice the sky, but I do. When I see an unusually bright blue sky, my heart aches. Something so ordinary, so mundane, but yet so wonderous - something Mike no longer has the ability to appreciate.

I just found your blog. It still amazes me every time I read about another EOAD patient. Mike has a sweet smile. I wish the whole world would just stop and think about what is happening in so many young families when EOAD hits in the prime of life.
Thank you for sharing him with us.
deborah - Thank you for sharing and of course, I agree with you. It's one of the many reasons I tell our story as much as I can. People NEED to be informed about the havoc this disease creates and that every day, more younger people are being diagnosed. Feel free to check in every now and then. Do you know someone with EOAD?
